Hi,

Looks like all the TEFAQ post here are old based on a quick search.

So if you are in Montreal now and preparing for the TEFAQ exam then lets gather here. It would be great to see how you preparing for the exam, your strategy and resources etc.

I have found some post on Classified websites such as kiji** where people are claiming to prepare for the exam with 20 hours. Not sure how far this claim is true. But would be nice to see how everyone is preparing for the exam and their strategy and have taken such fast track route with some success.

All backgrounds welcome offcourse :)

Are you taking any classes from any institude?
Now, I am taking french classes from Commission scolaire de Montréal board. I have level 6, Two more levels to go, after that i will prepare for TEFAQ.

I m also planning to start learning french..Any suggestions regarding a good school,resources,any good instructor-from your past experiencesHow should I prepare ,so that I can crack TEFAQ in minimal period.please share
 
I would suggest you, if you do not want to pay too much fees, check the Commission scolaire de Montréal, there are many school in the Montreal, which offer French courses to international student and worker in just 50$ for 6month.
I am studying centre saint paul. After completing level 7, i could apply for CSQ.
 
but what about the people like me who are on Work permit is there any Cheap course for them these Government funded courses are not for people on Work permits
