when I was on one.
French is not my native language. here it how it was for me:
1. Listening - much better than IELTS - every dialogue was given 2x, so first time you could listen and second check for whatever you did not catch the first time. First listening tasks were very easy and then more difficult followed.
2. Reading - again first texts were short and very easy ones. But there were also some fairy difficult with rarely used words
Both of those tasks were made on computer, so you could check your timing and even finish before hand.
3. Writing - 2 tasks, 1 was to finish article, this was again nothing that difficult (it was more like story in newspapers).
4. Speaking - 2 topics and there were 2 examinators which made it much easier as one could concentrate on the role (both were some dialogues) and other could observe.
Bottom line it was manageable.
