Hello everyone,

The new FSWP is going to open soon as we all know and I've been trying to figure out how I stand with my points and I'm afraid I'll only get 66 out of 67 :(
...so I've read though some posts and saw that people strongly advise against sending an application with 66 points. My IELTS exam already has enough grades for the current max visa points... so I'm left pretty much one option for such a short time... secondary language exam.

Considering I only minimally need 1 point to be in the green, I'm trying to not worry too much about it, even if my french is pretty poor. So I came to ask you good folk, if you know any good ways to brush up on french skills fur this TEF exam in a few weeks time? I've scoured the internet for TEF samples and only found one as opposed to IELTS where I had plenty of online material to practice on.

Also does anyone know what kind of minimal result I need to achieve on each part of TEF to get the visa points? (there's supposed to be only 4 points allocated for secondary language in the new FSWP right? - I assume/hope it's a minimal proficiency requirement)... and as I read, TEF has some optional parts too, can I just take the mandatory part since I'm only really hunting for 1 point... or is it a MUST to take all of the test in order for it to be eligible for the FSWP application?

EDIT: I see there's the standard TEF and TEFaQ (for Quebec)... do the Federals accept TEFaQ as secondary language test or do I need to take the full standard TEF?

Well I think I've bombarded this post with enough questions for now haha! Looking forward to a reply!
