Technical Question for senior members

According to new rules paragraph 220.1(1) We must continuously enroll in our program of study.

My application for study permit was received by CHC just 1 day before the new rules implemented and i received my study permit after june 1st.

Now here the gazette for new rules says :
(3) Despite sections 15 and 17, paragraph 220.1(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations does not apply in respect of a foreign national whose application for a study permit is received before the day on which these Regulations come into force and to whom the study permit applied for is issued before, on or after that day, for the duration of that permit and, if it is renewed in accordance with subsection (2), for the period that applies in accordance with that subsection.

My question is that paragraph 220.1 (1) doesn't apply on me right ??
It means if i don't enroll in classes until next September it won't affect my status right ?
Please correct me if i am wrong.

As of June 1, 2014, all study permit holders in Canada will need to actively pursue studies. This means that:

if you hold a study permit, you must remain enrolled and make reasonable and timely progress towards completing your program; and
failing to do so could lead to your removal from Canada.

Your educational institution will report to CIC on your continued enrolment and academic status. You may also be asked by an immigration officer to provide evidence of your continued enrolment and academic status.

Thats perfect but what i am saying is that my application was received before june 1st and the gazette says that it won't apply on me because my app was received before june 1st. Specifically the rule which ask us to remain enrolled.
