My wife's B.Ed ECA is not done by WES but M.Ed ECA has been done by WES, since she didn't apply for B.Ed assessment. B.Ed ECA is also mandatory for teaching in Canada or M.Ed ECA sufficient for NOC 4032?
She needs to be licensed by the province to teach in public schools. She may require further training depending on the province. There is a surplus of teachers in most provinces so getting a full-time job after licensing can take years.
In order to teach, she will have to be certified by whatever province she intends to live/work. I did my BEd outside of Canada and my MEd. in Canada and I still had to be certified by the BC Teacher Federation Board. They evaluate your credentials and experience. It was quite a long process. However, I got the approval and can now teach in either public or private K-12 schools. Also, please note that BC has a teacher shortage so jobs are plentiful, but you won't be hired without the BC teacher certificate.
She has to be certified by the province she wants to work in. It is a process where her credentials and experience will be evaluated. Sometimes people get approval without having to do any extra coursework, while some have to do courses and a whole new practicum. It all depends on what was done in the teaching degree.
