I am new to this canada as well as this forum.
  • Quebec and Montreal needs French ...
try to approach schools directly to find out more details.
One more way is find out if you can start private tuition's.
Try volunteer jobs in school to develop contact.
Keep us posted about the progress

Best Luck

Hi asw,

I interested in the subject as well but from what I've found, a teacher needs to have his teaching permit recognized by Quebec before s/he can start working as a teacher in elementary-secondary schools. So the first step is doing "Evaluation comparative" and the second applying for a teaching permit. A lot of paperwork. Have you looked into it a bit? Coz I'm trying to find out if this whole hassle is really worth it or if they'll tell me to go back to study something here anyway. :/

I wonder if anybody has gone through the process of having his/her teaching qualifications recognized in Quebec and was it worth it? :)
