I’m in process of applying citizenship! I do have 2 questions-
1. I landed as PR may 2017 , I have tax return for last 3 year in Canada and 2 year in India !
Do I need to select ‘ YES ‘ for 3 year and ‘ NO’ for previous 2 year ( as I was in India )

2. Will my old IELTS reports works for language eligibility?

thank you :)

1. Yes
2. Yes, but make sure this is the same IELTS result you used for your PR.

Yes. you need to mention your tax filing details since the date you made your 1st landing in canada as PR.
Yes. You can use your old IELTS certificate which you used to apply for PR

Thank you :)
So for tax return - it will ‘YES ‘ from 2015 and 2016 ( although I was in India ) ?
No. Tax returns they ask about the returns you filed at CRA. They are not asking if you filed tax while residing outside.
So for the question "required to file" for the years 2015 and 2016, say no and for "taxes filed" column say no for these 2 years.
And yes for 17,18 and 19 for "required to file" and for "taxes filed".

No, I wrote Yes in my previous reply in context to tell you that you are thinking right. So your response should be yes for the years after ( including the year you landed) your first landing. and not required for the years outside canada before you made your first landing.

Tax requirements is for within Canada, and you are okay with 3 years range, you can tick no for previous ones.
IELTS is valid if its general and doesn't mater if that one was used with PR or not.
Note: expired EILTS is also acceptable
