Hi,

I have had a pending EE application for more than two years. I have recently become an American permanent resident. Does anyone know if my Canadian Permanent residence application is approved, will I have to pay taxes in Canada while I am working and living in the US?

Thank you!

No, you won't. Unlike the US, you can declare yourself a non-resident in Canada if you are living / working elsewhere. Non-residents do not have to file taxes.

No, but you’ll eventually have to live some time in Canada . Keep in mind the residency obligations to keep your GC are FAR more strict than Canada
