Hello!
I need to know that during anytime in the process for immigration to Canada, will I require to submit tax documents. If yes, will these tax documents be of current job or previous job/jobs.
Kindly, help me withis as it is extremely important.

In some countries the people don't pay income tax because they don't show their real income to the tax agencies; on the other hand, the tax agencies cannot control the income of the people. In my country many people are so rich, but they never know what income tax is. I think Canadian authorities should know about this matter and find a way not force other people from out of Canada to show their tax documents.

I'm in the US since 2000 and CIC has asked me to submit all my income tax return from 2000 to present. My income tax for 8 yrs. are from 3 to 4 different companies.

Guys,

They (CIC) do not want to force people to pay tax or show tax docs when they never paid the tax, they are actually trying to verify your employment through these documents.

So lets say you have said on your application that you have 10 years of experience in such and such company and you worked in the US, they want company letter as well as the Tax documents which is the proof that you were employed all those years. They asked me tax from 2004 to 2007 Certified copies.

If you live in country where you don't pay income tax, then I guess they won't ask you the tax docs. In US W2 are very common and you must have it once you claim that you were employed.
