Tax and Living Abroad

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone had any advice on citizenship and living abroad. I was granted citizenship last summer and excited to have finally completed the process.

I'm awaiting my permanent move back to Canada, probably in the next 2 years. Was just wondering if there are any requirements for me in the interim to do in relation to Canadian taxes. I don't have any Canadian income. Do I need to fill out any forms or let revenue know?

If anyone has been in this situation, would be delighted to hear from you! Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. Should I let revenue know or do I just not complete my taxes as such if I have not been paid in Canada in that tax year?

Apologies, I mean should I let the revenue agency know that I am abroad or do I just not fill out any taxes full stop?

Thanks for the advice!
