Taking wayyyy to long!

I sent my sponsorship application (and it was received) on July 13, 2011. It's been almost 17 months and they've asked my husband to do a new medical exam with a police check and a questionnaire. Is any one else sponsoring their spouse in Lebanon and having it take this long?? I'm getting worried.
I have some updates. Should I send it to the visa office in Beirut?

I know it's hard not to worry... but Beirut – Lebanon is posting a processing time of 19 months and that is not including the time that it took you to receive sponsorship approval, so you have to add that to the 19 months. By now his medicals have expired since they are only good for 1 year so thats why he has to redo those and again since it has been so long they just to make sure he hasn't been arrested during the processing time, so I would say with those requests and the length of time it's been... In my opinion I would say your in the final stretch. Good Luck!
