Hello,
My wife and I appeared for the citizenship exam on November 28th and awaiting our oath invitations. Please suggest if it’s advisable to take a 1 year old and a 4 year old with us to the oath ceremony. I have heard mixed rumors but, if anyone knows of someone who have had similar circumstance, kindly advise. OR seniors please shed a light on this. Both our children are Canadian citizens.
Thank you

4 year old should be fine, but the issue is with smaller children. If the child cries or makes a ruckus, a CIC official will force one of you to leave the room with the child. You will not be readmitted. You will not be able to take the Oath. You may be able to beg and plead to stay, but it's a big risk.

If you want both children to come, you really need to bring a friend who can stay with the younger child in case they're having a hard time.
