T4A to prove Low Income Cut Off (LICO) requirement for supervisa for parents

Hi All,

I am about to apply for supervisa for my parents.

In the last year, I was working at university under a government research grant which was tax exempt and I was issued with T4A slip instead of T4. The amount on my T4A is easily above Low Income Cut Off (LICO), but my question is, can I use this T4A to prove that I am above Low Income Cut Off (LICO) for supervisa for parents ?

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!

T4A is not issued for low income, you may treat it as a T4 for immigration purposes.
