well, not sure what else to elaborate. in my view being organized meant i would and i had ready each and every document pertinent to application, precisely those related to residency. passport translation in my view would have been an important and more than relevant detail if contains non-english stamps.

but again, thats my opinion.
I think you are confusing being pedantic with being organized, my friend:)

To begin with, neither passport stamps nor their translations is required when submitting initial application. Only bio - pages are required. Submitting passport stamps and translation is addtl docs... which you are against. ...

i always said i'm against of sending any (and i mean any) additional document with initial application. to have them ready is what i always recommended.

anyway this argument is not getting anywhere.
like RussCan said, I only can tell what happened in my case: i did not send any additional document, I had 4 addresses in the 4yrs prior to apply, 3 out 4 yrs self-employed and another citizenship application denied in 2006. this time the all process was little less than 5 mts.

i wish everybody good luck and wise judgement in approaching the process of applying for citizenship.

I included NOA in my application, didn't include T4 & employment letter. I think NOA is good enough to prove residential.
Makes sense; T4 is any way included in NOA ...
