I already adjust my mind to wait 8 months

Damn employer that didn’t provide me with employment letter
However I had an employment letter (with duties) for my husbands WP extension dates 3 weeks before I resigned. So hopefully they accept it along with T4, pay slip, LOE etc.

My Aor is aug. First time when I called cic they informed that my vo is ottawa. And last week they are saying my vo is Sydney. Basically files will move from sydney to ottawa but my file is moved from ottawa to sydney. So worrie

I heard speaking to local MP will do something if your file is over 6 months

What do you mean by local mp and how to contact him? Member of parliament is any ways linked to immigration process?

the cic lady to whom we spoken says that eligibility recommended pass , criminality passed with medicals, security not started yet.

when you live in Canada, each community/city have their own MP. You check with your community and contact him/her

they have email connection with specific cic agent. However, it is not that helpful as you expected. He cannot expedite the process but probably remind CIC your existence lol

it just makes you feel better that someone from government is standing your side

Okk.Thanks a lot for info.But I live in India.So can't use that link I suppose.Calling them is the easiest thing for me to remind them from time to time that helloooo I am in the que...lol

My AOR IS JUNE 17th. I applied under nomination program under NS province. I called them on October, they said my security check hasn’t started it yet. And I called on DEC 2. They said the same thing, it hasn’t started yet. Just wondering why is so slow whoever’s files are in sydney. Pissed.

Yep. Big time. 14 days up to 6 months. I got annoyed a lot. Cuz I want to get it done. And there is nothin I can do about this situation.

did they say they would speed up the process? or did they say that you will get the result in 14 days?
