Hi, I applied on March 16TH and the file was transferred to Sydney VO on May 25TH.

No, no response at all! It's been 4 months with out movement. I don't even know what to do.

Family Class (Permanent Residence). My fiance is Canadian and she is in Canada now waiting for me haha. I have to overcome inadmissibility which will take about 3 months before my application for PR can continue. Sydney VO have agreed to hold my application while criminal rehab takes place.
in 2011 I was charged with Careless use of a motor vehicle causing injury. In my country the charge or careless use is at the very bottom of the scale for serious offence but still have to go through criminal rehabilitation.

I have contacted them various times and they only reply if its an urgent matter or if you reply to their emails - otherwise they will reply to you within 10 working days - that is if a reply to your email is required. They don't reply to emails asking for updates if your application is within the 12 month period

I also have my file on Sydney, NS.
I called them Nov 15th 2019 and they said I have the same statuses since Sep 10th 2019:
- Eligibility Recommend Pass
- Criminality PASSED
- Security NOT STARTED

Nothing has changed.. I've just called and the lady gave me the same statuses

CEC Inland
AOR Aug 9th
- Medicals PASSED
- Criminality PASSED
- Eligibility RECOMMEND PASS
- Security NOT STARTED

the lady told me everything looked good on my application, and there was nothing to worry about... recommended pass means it's all good but an officer needs to approve. I asked about other people getting their PRs before us and she said it's normal.
I asked her if there's something I would do to speed up the process and she said I provided everything it needed... if there's no news by mid Feb I would call again.

Finally I asked about the office... why my file was still at Sydney and others weren't.. she told me our files will be transferred to another office responsible to issue the COPR.

so yeah guys... let's wait for some good news soon.
