Hi, i have applied for PR on september 19th 2019.
A new medical was requested and i passed it on 11th August 2020. The old one expired.
When i called them, agent said the application was approved on august 18th 2020.
• The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney (CIO), Nova Scotia, on September 19, 2019.
• The eligibility requirements assessment was finalized on May 25, 2020.
• The medical examination results are on file and valid until August 11, 2021.
• The criminality verifications are currently valid.
• The security verifications are currently valid.
• The file is in queue for a final review by an officer. The responsible office will contact the applicant when a final decision is made. If further details are needed, the responsible office will contact the applicant directly.
I have been waiting since then for the COPR. It has been almost 4 months since it was approved (as per the agent i talked on the phone). I do not have any proof that it was approved in hand.
Has anyone faced such an issue. Waiting for 4 months to get COPR after every thing is done.
I am confused as to whether there is something wrong with my application or its just the Sydney office being too slow.

Eligibility , Criminality are both passed in Oct'2020 but Security not started .
What can be done here as security is not started from last 2 months . Any one else in similar situation

I called CIC today and they told me that my eligibility review is complete and met and the only thing left is security. Does someone happen to know how long will it take to pass the security check?
