Received a ghost update (second one) yesterday in my account. AOR Aug 7, 2018. First ghost on Jan 24 for passing criminality. No idea what this one is for. Eligibility under RR since first week of september.

Same, medicals got extended, no movement since. I will update once my CBSA notes arrive.

How long does it take for requesting a medical extension? How long they will approve for the medical extension?

There isn't any timelines that I've observed in my case for requesting the medical extension. It's officers call I believe. After extension being requested, it can take up to 4 weeks to get the medicals extended & updated in the website. For me it took 2.5 weeks.

I think my security started with the extension of medicals but I can't tell for sure. The latest eligibility status is met.

That’s good. My eligibility is under review only. There isn’t any changes after the medicals extension.

Got CBSA notes today. Eligibility is still met. Application is in queue for review of an officer, security is not started. These notes were generated on May 15 however I've got an update in my online account in early June so we'll see from the next notes what was there. I suppose it's the medicals extension because from my account the medicals went from "You passed the medical exam" to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes".

Cbsa notes are only helpful when your security is ongoing, else it will be same as GCMS notes

I assume your application was approved and also they extend the medical, so just wait for the email.

I think that most likely, the application got reviewed so the medicals were extended and the security has started.

It's only useful if your security is already in progress, otherwise normal gcms notes should suffice.

18 days away from my 6 month estimate.. Application stuck at CIO Sydney. Has anyone here had their application at CIO Sydney from the start and received PPR without another visa office being involved?

I saw many ppl with Sydney VO who got PPR already but I'm still in processing though. AOR 30th August 2018.
