I am FSW-outland, I have a valid Canadian visitor visa as well as a valid B1/B2 US visa. I am considering traveling to Canada early next month (entering Canada as a visitor) and wait for CoPR while in Canada to complete the virtual landing process from within Canada. This is due to personal reasons outside my control which I cannot change.
My FSW-EE timelines have been quite smooth so far:
AOR: 3 April
UCI/MED/BIO: 10 April
Eligibility completed: 22 May
Background check: in progress.
CoPR: expected anytime!!
My question:
- Given how fast my application is going, If I receive my CoPR email soon before my visit travel, and I wanted to enter Canada using my temporary visa (not sending my passport & waiting for a a PR visa stamp,. etc), with my CoPR approved, can I still enter Canada as a visitor and complete the virtual landing from inside Canada?
I'm also able to enter Canada from US by land/private vehicel, if this could make any difference to the PR visa requirement?
I'm in a very complicated situation, so your experience is highly highly appreciated!!
