Pessimism won't help you buddy. A country will obviously want immigrants that will help its economic growth. They will select us based on their requirement criteria. All we can do is create an application and hope for the best.
Another thing, one draw doesn't mean it's the end of the game for the rest.

Just be positive and don't put all your eggs in one basket. Have a plan B in case this doesn't work out. Let fate take its course and remember that we are all in the same boat. You aren't alone. Good luck.

Thxn bro,

But i already spent lot of amount in consultancy, and WES reports
I am not sure if you know how much time it used to take earlier in the year 2012 and before. If you don't, then have a check and you will thank god!!

To be honest. I'm just getting down to get started. Appearing in IELTS and getting degrees evaluated. I know It might take time but what gives me satisfaction is that the CIC tool says I'm 'eligible' to apply. There must be light at the end of the tunnel then right?

For now, i'll be completing the above mentioned tasks to create my EE profile and then hope for the best. I already have a pretty decent job in my country back home so tbh I am not even sure what I'm going to do in Canada if I land next month (without a job)

i have searched immigration programs.you can be selected as a skilled immigrant in australia even though you have not a job offer.it seems that australia is better than canada to immigrate as a high skilled immigrant because job offer is not necessary.although in order to apply immigration program under ee as fsw,job offer is not a must but to be selected is almost impossible due to extra 600 points which is got by people who have job offer.
