Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Friends
we are all on our way to Canada
Bitter truth is most of pur qualifications are not recognised in Canada.
Many of the new immigrants survive on the so called suvival jobs

I am initating a thread so that everyone will start sharing thier view on such jobs and ways to get "AT "them

lets start the music

Hello

when did you reach Canada and what is your profile, I meant what type of jobs you are looking.

thanks

what do you meant by survival job?
What type of job are you currently doing

I HAVE A QUERY

SOMEONE WHO IS EARNING AROUND 70-80K PER MONTH IN INDIA CAN STILL SAVE A LITTLE EACH MONTH, HOWEVER, IF HE MOVES TO CANADA, HE WILL BECOME HAND TO MOUTH AS ALL EDUCATIONAL DEGREES ARE NOT VALID IN CANADA AND HE HAS TO STUDY AGAIN TO BECOME RECOGNIZED. SO BY DOING A PARTTIME FILLING JOB OR A FULLTIME PROVISIONAL JOB, IS SOME ONE TAKING THE RIGHT DECISION TO MOVE TO CANADA AND SETTLE.

WHAT IF HE DOES NOT SAVE ENOUGH TO DO A CANADIAN DEGREE?

WHAT IF HE DOES NOT GET A JOB OF HIS CHOICE?

HOW LONG WILL HE DO THE TEMPORARY JOB?

THERE ARE MANY QUERIES ONE MAY HAVE IN HIS MIND......................

I think relative scope for better social security and privileges and specially for the sake of future of child most of us driving ourself towards.......
We might have a honored life with top designation in country but the social peace of mind and challenge for dream life is out there...... All we need to believe in ourself and hold the best outlook towards a corruption free, political influence free social environment.....
I think most of us know our initial challenges and have determination to overcome.....and thats exactly why we applied

Unlike our country, none of the work considers really demoralizing over there unless you enjoy it .... at least nobody will point at you whatever you do for ur life!! I do value this.....a lot!!

All in all whatever qualification we hold we should not expect us to have a red carpet reception.......feeded.with secured job but need to have our mind set to struggle and survive unless we can grab avenues to work out a suitable means for out life taking ahead....

Lets hope for the best and we have to live on hopes.........................

Hi,

I agree with Fariza. He is right. In our country we have live with so many compromises in life. Here, might is right. If somebody has influence, their jobs are done within minutes, otherwise you have to wait for years. This is an unsystematic/haphazard/hit and trial society, where things are not put in a proper manner. Here pay and gay, otherwise as a citizen you have to fight for your rights throughout your life. Although exceptions are everywhere. Anyway, going from here to Canada is definitely a good bet, that I believe.

I know of guys who not only survived the survival jobs, but made a career out of it.
And many more who furthered their future on these very survival jobs and are in business with it today. They turned into entrepreneurs.

I fully endorse qorax's statement. My uncle started his Canadian dream with a survival job at a gas station. Then, he ran a Petro-Canada Super Stpp gas station himself for a few years and now owns a reputed paint showroom. He is a successful enterpreneur now and owns a 4-bedrooms independent house with good majority of mortgage already paid. There are many other success stories. Let's work towards realizing our dreams of better quality of life for us and our next generation.

Cheers..

Totally agree with Fariza... I am in love my country and I earn more than enough for myself & my family but I really want to get away from the chaos that runs our country. I have been fortunate to have worked and lived in Europe and my resolve has only became stronger. I am ready to work harder and longer to give my little girl the life that I have not been able to live here... Mine may be an escapist attitude and I know it... but that's what I have chosen for myself.
It might take a little time, a few years maybe to settle myself and achieve the standard of living that i want... but I believe the value addition in terms of a cleaner environment & a corruption free society are incentives enough for me.
Again, totally my point of view...

Are these survival jobs always there? can we count on them that for sure we will get a grab of "somthing"
someone on another blog posted he grabbed himself one of these jobs in a week time after landing
I lived and worked in US for long time, i know its really easy to get survival jobs there, dont know m,uch abt Ca though

excellent reply by Fariza...thats the reason we are heading for west...we do love our country but revolution never starts from the home, one has to get out from comfort zone and strieve to achieve the best...
