It is not hard to get a survival job in Toronto and GTA. Some efforts would be still required in this direction.

Nope... they r available 'dime-a-dozen', the "baker's dozen" at that !
Relax, come over... and u'd find something, everyone does, no one remains unemployed here -- unless s/he wants to.

Even for survival jobs you'd need to set up your mind.
are you able to shovel snow? lift 40-50 lb's constantly for 8 hours daily?
