Survival Jobs In Canada !! Need Experienced Inputs

hi friends... did read in this forum that once we land the initial stage we can get only the survival jobs.. But there isnt any light thrown on the survival jobs . So it would be great if people who have already landed can share their experiences of the survival jobs that they took up irrespective of which city or place in canada.
Please update the survival job profile and the wages and the timeframe took to gain that job. This could help the new comers a lot so plz update the experienced...

It is not true. You can find better job also. If you try looking for survival job you will definitely end up finding just survival job and frustration continues, moreover you will start hating Canada. So make a wise decision try for better job you did not come to Canada for survival job.

I tried for 2 months, found a job and pays good.

Do not get frustrated and do not forget why did you come to Canada.

I have seen a lot saying they came for kids and end up with survival job. Forget about kids, you came for yourself and then for your kids, you did not ask your kids for permission before coming to Canada.

thanx for the feedback... well what i meant by survival job is initially when we reach canada it is not possible to get a better pay or a job of your small dream.... bcoz that is goanna take time. so what i meant is , rather than ending up spending the funds which are brought from homeland, its better to start of with a small job where pay doesnt matter but that can be utilized atleast for your daily needs till you find a better job... i never meant to stick on with survival jobs the entire life.... just a starting income. thats alll what i meant....

ppl tend to misunderstand the meaning of survival jobs

so let me say a staring income job ...does that some better

You can definitely survive, no need to worry. Just sharing what I have seen here, lots of people in pursuit of survival ruin their career.

We need to clarify among job career and money. If you have come for job, take any job whatever you strike with. Career - you need patience, and money - better not try coming to Canada. You are much better off back home, all you need to have is entrepreneurship skills and some business acumen which I definitely lack and that is why I am in Canada ;D

oh thanx for the reply... well what kind of jobs can u find usually? i mean survival jobs? and how can you find it? in newspapers or outside the shops? what are the pays ?
