Thank you :)

surrey is the worst office.

its very depressing

I think surrey is slowest office in country, maybe because many immigrants and long backup.
We should ask MP to speed it up like other offices in country.
MIne is in process since june 2013 - in process since 13 months now.
looking at timeline of other people looks like it will be another 9 to 10 months.
meanwhile renewing pr card is extra expense
As had it been another office i would be citizen for long with canadian passport and I wouldn't have to renew pr card.
Being in surrey office is too frustrating

I completely agree, this issue needs to be escalated with MP

Surrey is the pits!!! From what I heard in the media, Surrey office has only a single judge and correct me if I am wrong but Surrey has one of the quickest growing immigrant populations in BC, if not Canada :(

Just wanted to clarify one thing, lot of applicants from Surrey/Langley area are under the impression that their local office is Vancouver which is not correct. These are two different local offices and their local office will be Surrey which is based on the "Home Address".

Just curious, Is there anyone who applied in 2013 from Surrey, BC and got the test invitation.

hi everyone,
So I finally received my test date for August 22 ...and I got this test date on 14th august..letter issued on 12th AUgust. In the letter it says provide all the documents you submitted at time of applying for citizenship. When I see the doc checklist (it has stuff like meeting requirement for English etc.). This completely threw me off...as I have been in Canada for 12 years..studied here etc. What alternate do I have? Also, what kind of questions do they ask on interview? Any response will be appreciated. Thank you
