yes 2bcanuck, they defined it as a non routine application. I was asked for a fingerprint. I ordered an atip report last month which shows that my application was approved on 12/23, now its just ghe wait game I suppose.

1. Application Sent to Sydney on December 31, 2014
2. Letter acknowledging receipt of application: March 1, 2015
3. Started processing application: March 4, 2015
4. File transferred to Surrey, BC office on March 9, 2015

Nothing yet. She called cic last week but they said it's within 24 mos. normal processing. I dont know what's happening in Surrey office. They get slower and slower. We have friends who got their test exactly one year in Dec. 2014 and oath in March 2015.

My file was transferred twice to Surrey Office ! is this common practice? or is it a case of entry error or additional info sent on the second time?

My daughter and son just received their test notices today. We really can't say how cic works coz my son's test is 1 wk ahead of my daughter though he filed 6 mos after my daughter's application. Aside from that, both of them will be taking their exams in Vancouver, not Surrey.

Do you mean ,their files was transferred to Surrey Office ,but they will take the test at Vancouver Office?
