Surrender Indian Passport & OCI - Toronto/Brampton

I have no idea how does it work but I have 3 appointments for Tuesday(October 17) morning at BLS Brampton for passport surrender. I won't be able to go, if anyone is interested. Let me know

Need help !!

I am preparing OCI application in Canada. I have two questions regarding postal code in Online OCI application.

1. I typed my postal code in both "Present Address" and "Zip Code/ Pin Code/ Area Code". When I printed OCI application, postel code is printed twice in OCI application in section "21. Present Address".

2. If I don't mention postal code in "Present Address" and mention postal code only in "Zip Code/ Pin Code/ Area Code", will my postal code be printed in Address in OCI booklet?

Please help to answer my questions.

Hi everyone, I did the process of surrendering Indian passport at BLS Toronto on May 13, I still didn't receive it. The status here https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html still shows Application submitted. My worry is I am moving from my current location which is given to BLS. What can be done in such case ? Why it is taking so long for me ? My some friends received within 3 weeks.

An update that Purolator just delivered the passport with surrender certificate attached today, December 8, 2022. I applied in-person on November 15, 2022. Hope this information helps someone.

Do we need bank draft for walk-ins??
