Hey Guys,

I have a question concerning the supporting documents for the study permit application.
Do all documents need to be certified? Like if I scan my passport, does the scan need to be certified by a person of the public? And my bank statements? Do they need to be certified by my bank as well? I couldn't find any answers to this so I'm asking you.

German citizens do need to take a medical exam, is that right?

Thanks in advance,
Elisabeth

Also, do you ALWAYS need to submit a "Letter of explanation"?

On the CIC website it says you only need this letter:
"If you are applying for a study permit even though you do not need one"

I'm a little confused....

You do not always need one but you could write one with something that could strongly back up your application. It's more like a statement of purpose. What your plans are and stuff

My advice is to upload your transcripts and an employment letter to save at least 2 weeks.

Attach it to your letter of explanation.

Thanks for the answers.

If I submit my application online, is it true that the application form does not need to be signed? Is it enough to validate it?
I can't find any answers to this.
Please help!!
