Hi,

Do canada embassy contact each & every past & current employer for processing application ?

What happens if the past employer ceases to operate?

i am guessing they do random checks but the probability of any given employer is probably high rather than low, so maybe they contact like 70% of the employer. If the employer is an important part of your application (such as the one that satisfies the ministerial criteria requirement) then maybe those are of higher probability.
