Supporting documents help!

Hi all,

Is there any thorough guidance on the supporting documents you need to submit with the application for a work permit?

It says 'Request for Medical Exam (required)' and asks you to upload a file, but what do you do if you don't need a medical exam? I live in one of the designated countries so elsewhere it says this isn't necessary.

What are they looking for when they ask you to upload a file with 'Proof that you Meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered'? In the info it says to provide evidence if your intended occupation is regulated, but mine isn't regulated.

It asks for Employment Reference Letter, Employment Contract, Employment Records, Letter from Current Employment - but I've never been employed, so what should I do? I've just graduated so this is going to be my first job.

This is the info I used - got it in an email from them.

"Supporting information is reviewed on a case by case basis in the context of the application. It is strongly advised that you use the checklist to help you compile your documents. Our office cannot provide applicants with individual guidance as to what documents they should or should not submit; this is to ensure that all applicants receive consistent advice.



The onus is on the applicant to provide information to satisfy the officer that they meet the requirements of the category they are applying under.

In response to your question we recommend that you:

- Attach a separate sheet of paper if you need more space and indicate the letter or number of the question you are answering;

- If you do not have the exact document, or all the documents, requested you must provide either documentation that contains the equivalent information, or a written explanation as to why the document(s) has not been provided;

- Provide information for all the requirements and answer all questions. If any sections do not apply to you, please provide a written explanation and write answer N/A on the checklist;

Please ensure that you submit your documents within the time frame given."
