Hey guys, I'm preparing my app and I want to include support letters from my wife's family and friends and from my family as well.

Any tips/opinions on what should they convey/mention?

Thanks!

By "support letters", what exactly do you mean? Why do you feel that you need them?

are you married? coz letters from family and friends are usually submitted by common law partners....but even if you're married, you can include letters if you want to. In our case, we included a scanned copy of the cards that were given to us in our wedding.

I believe you meant testimonials to confirm the genuineness of the marriage. I too got a few from various family and friends as per suggestion from someone who did the same. Mine wasn't totally necessary given our relationship and years of marriage and us living together etc but I thought it wouldnt hurt so yes you can have persons writing letters to say they were at the wedding, have known you, your husband or both as a couple for how many years and can attest that the marriage is genuine etc.

The writer should give their name, address, telephone number, and email. They should state how long they`ve known you, when they met you, and that they believe your relationship is genuine because .... They can mention things they`ve done with the couple. The letters should be written by the friend or relative - don`t write them yourselves and just have them sign them, because this makes the letters look fake. They should sign the letter, if possible. Affidavits are even better than a letter, but even an email is OK.

If this is about marriage, we also included scanned copy of letters from our friends and family which shows the the message and stamp(location and date of where the letter came from)... i believe this is also a proof of relationship... :)

Thank you all for your responses,

Yes I'm married, I was thinking to send some letters from a couple of friends/family members saying something like:
I am X, I've known Z for W years, I've also met K (my wife) and they are awesome together (well... something along those lines :D)

Or would including those would be too much? I'm indecisive.

We have included some photos with eachother friends/family, memoirs, etc. So this would be a 'plus' in terms of evidence

Letters from every single person that knows you guys would be too much but a few from close family and friends is fine :)

Including a few would be fine. Get some from both sides.
