Good Evening,
I just need some advice from people in a similar situation.
After nearly 10 years of pestering, threats and walkouts by my wife I finally relented to giving my inlaws in India a Supervisa. But I should have known better and trusted by gut instinct.
As soon as they arrived they started pressuring me for a PR card but initially it was "we just want to visit" literally they wake up 6am in the morning and wait downstairs for me to wakeup and before I leave for work make threats like " divorce could be an option" so this led to a major fight several weeks ago as my wife was joining them.
The result was my wife took my small child along with her parents to their relatives home and stayed there for a few days.
They are taking a toll on my physical and mental health. I pay nearly 4500 dollars a month in mortgage, heating, electricity, car payments and my wifes contribution despite making 50,000 a year is about 150 dollars a month. So I asked her about it and the result was being shouted down by all 3 in my own home with threats of everything being taken away.
I have asked them to leave and got older relatives to do it as well without luck so far. My fear is that this eventually going to lead to something major involving police.
Their Supervisa lasts until May 2018 and I don't know if anything can be done. I feel like withdrawing my sponsorship when they leave but don't know how or if I can.
