Seeking urgent guidance:

Supervisa approved and Passport Request Letter received. Applicant also has a visitors visa and is currently in Canada.

Where should passport be submitted for supervisa stamping? Ideally, it would be done in the home country. However, the application was submitted online when the applicant was in the home country and now the applicant is in Canada when the approval & PPR came. So, can passport submission be done at a Visa Center in Canada, for example the one in Ottawa?

On contacting IRCC, were told to raise a webform and let the local VAC in the home country know about the current situation and request for transfer of PPR to a visa office in Canada. Haven't got any reply to the webform yet, which was submitted last Tuesday. Time is ticking as passport submission needs to be done within 30 days from the receipt of the PPR letter.

Please guide. Thanks.

Try calling your Local VO. Webform nowadays has long response time. It's your Local VO who will transfer your file to your present address VO. There's no other way. Alternately, you can request for an extension of passport submission but that's not a very good approach anyway.

Would you mind sharing your timeline please? Which VO you belong to? Thanks

It will likely take a few weeks for a reply. The 30 days won’t be an issue because you’ve contacted IRCC. People should always update their address if they are no longer in their home country. She will have to leave and reenter Canada to initiate the supervisa.

We did update them about the change in location after she traveled on visitors visa. I am aware about the exit & re entry part. I think we just would have to wait for them to reply to the webform regardless of how long that might take.

Yeah but we are unable to contact the local VO other than emailing them, which we already have.

Local VO: Delhi, India

Timelines were crazy:
Application submission in Aug 2020, biometrics in Dec 2020, medicals in July 2021 and approval in Sep 2021.
