Supervisa Timeline - Ukraine (Kyiv)

Hi There

We are helping my MIL come visit us and she submitted her application just after the new year (Jan 2). All the docs were in order it seems and she had her medical last week (Jan 25) And we're waiting to hear the next steps as this embassy seems pretty good with communication.

Has anyone else done the Kyiv or other Eastern European offices? They mentioned something about sending the medical results to London for evaluation. Just looking to get an approx. turn around times or outcomes.

Is it safe to assume that she is approved in principle if she was sent for a medical? And (medical results pending) we could shortly get positive results?

My mother in law got her Super Visa.

Here's our timeline for the Kyiv office:

Submitted her application just after the new year (Jan 2)
Had her medical (Jan 25)
Received her passport with Visa (Feb 20)

Ukraine should not be difficult. Have patience and follow up with the embassy to make sure everything is in order.
If you get stuck you can use the legal services of the law firm hosting this site, stay away from Russian immigration consultants.
Make sure you have proper insurance.
