Supervisa renewal for another year.

My MiL's 2 years stay is about to expire end of January 2021. I saw that the processing times for a new supervisa is about 2xx days, is this the same for renewal?

So when does the actual super visa expire as opposed to her stay in Canada.

You would need to apply for a new super visa if the actual visa expires 1/2021 and that assumes an application is made when she is outside of Canada.

You could maybe go the extend stay as a visitor route as an alternative which also has a long leadtime but carries an implied status pending a decision.
