Good morning experts,
My mother is on supervisa in Canada for last 8 months and when she entered her passport was stamped for stay of 5 years. Due to family reasons she has to leave Canada for two weeks. On her re-entry, would she need a new insurance coverage starting from date of her planned return or can she show her ongoing insurance coverage which is still valid for another three months. Thanks @Canuck11 @scylla

I would cancel her insurance and re-purchase for the date she plans on returning. The insurance company will refund you the difference. no point paying for the insurance if she isn't here.

Hey, I'm in a similar situation. Was she allowed to re enter?

Entry as a visitor is always based on personal profiles. That said under the terms of her supervisa she must enter with proof of 1 year of supervisa insurance.
