Hi Sonia,

As per the CIC.GC.CA website minimum time for processing supervisa is 9 days and maximum is 30 days.
I applied for my parents super visa from new delhi on July 18 and after a week they got their medical requests and now we are waiting for the cici to contact us.

Have your parents received medical requests yet? if not i would suggest you to email https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=chandigarh

Thanks,
ASJ

Hi Kathy,

Not sure about Phillipines but i called the doctor's clinic today in India to check about my parents' medical results they said that they take 1 week to send the test results to cic and tomorrow 1 week will be complete and they will send my parents' test results. Suggest you to check with your doctor.

Thanks.

Hello ASJ,

thank you for your reply. I followed what you stated above. I called the clinic and the secretary said it will be sent to cic this week. my mom had the med exam done over a week ago. hopefully, it'll make it to cic asap. i am kinda sad, my husband bought a 2500 one way ticket for my mom for 28 aug. if my mom will get refused or maybe granted visa at a later date... then we lost that 2500. i just wish he'd listened to me at the time of purchasing that ticket. it was a kinda crazy move of him *sigh*

Thanks,
Kathy

He should have not bought the tickets in advance, ticket is even not a mandatory document to apply for supervisa. Now i would suggest you to hope for the best.

Something I've learned recently. Even non refundable tickets can be rescheduled. often up to a year later. Or even refunded, though it usually costs a fee.
