The other reason for refusal which I failed to mention earlier is the insufficient funds & Assets where I have uploaded my inlaws joint bank statements and bank certificate with more than enough funds ($ CAD 75k) I think and land/real estate title to prove home ownership. I can’t think of anything to add to that since my inlaw is 70 yo and not working.

If I reapply where should I attach supervisa medical insurance if there is no link for that? Would it also help to include a cover letter?

I’m 100% sure there isnt. Only items with own tab are as follows:

Invitation letter
Purpose of travel
Proof of medical exam
Proof of means of financial support
Family information
Use of Rep
Proof of Relationship
Explanation letter/other docs

I checked earlier again when I got the refusal letter and there isn’t a tab.

Should be more than 6mos for super visa
And “child” should be the answer in what is your relationship to family member?

Oh no, you are right! I tried to fill in another questionnaire and I chose child/grandchild which I thought it was the answer I picked earlier! It messed up the whole thing however the CIC officer knew that it’s for Supervisa but just didn’t check every document even if they are uploaded in the wrong tabs. I already sent an email to them. I will wait for 28 hours for reply.

@pie_vancouver its been more than 28 hours standard time and no response yet from my email inquiry. Should I just re—apply? What do you think? I got the new checklist online and it’s got all the upload tabs - medical insurance, t4, noa, etc.

28 days not 28 hours? When I emailed them they replied after 2 or 3 days.

Hi just want to ask if what did you put as proof in the Purpose of Travel-other: an example mentioned under that tab : flight ticket departing Canada, travel itinerary but if supervisa and parents want to stay longer than 6 months to 2 yrs then how do you provide the return ticket? What document did you uploaded? Thanks
