Hello, I am a PR. I am planning to invite my parents for a short stay to Canada. I was wondering if I need to go with the normal visitor visa or SuperVisa? What are the pros and cons?

You only need a visitor visa for your parent to visit for a short stay.
Supervisa allows parents to stay up to 2 years at a time.

Thanks for your reply.
Right but isn't it beneficial to get Supervisa right away rather than visitor visa? Like what is the pro of visitor visa for parents compared to supervisa?

You need income proof for supser visa. (you must meet the required LICO income levels for your family size )
You will also need to get health insurnace for the year or so for super visa. I haven't checked recent update so I do not know if approval for super visa takes longer or not (vs regular visitor visa)

Supervisa is based on your income where TRV is primarily based on your parents income/savings.
