hi
i actually applied for my parents super visa and got 1 year paid insurance. I just noticed that start date of insurance is 1st may 2023 whereas my parents are travelling 10th feb to 15th march, should i get insurance updated and send it via webform to ircc or leave it as it is.

Shouldn’t matter since people will always have to update the insurance company about their travel dates once they have the supervisa confirmed and have been able to book their flights. Assume the insurance companies typically give people a policy with a start date 6 months.

You need the proof to get the Visa but the Visa is not guaranteed. The insurance company will change the effective date if asked. They know this. Deal with a good broker and they will take care of you. There is no cost and you get service. Many of these health isnruance companies don't have robust customer service departments and rely on brokers
