Supervisa from India, Biometrics

Hello Everyone, I am applying for my parents super visa this week. My parents need to give biometrics in India. I wonder if anyone applied recently and got biometrics request. Me and my wife, we both work with covid patients and really need my mom here to look after my son but these closed VACs are pain.

Not possible at this time. Only option is to have them travel to Dubai or Nepal to get biometrics done.

Thanks, will cic process the file once biometrics are completed in another country? I mean are they processing supervisa files who have biometrics completed?

Would add that your parents can't legally work in Canada so they can't say they need to come to Canada to provide childcare.

If my mum is unable to provide biometrics in India within the allotted time (3 months I think) what are the next steps. Does she need to call CIC/ VFS? Does she just go whenever the office opens and then submit the biometrics to CIC what is the procedure at this point?

I am also looking forward for someone to reply on this query .As I am Planning to apply for my in-laws visa

There is no expiry date because biometrics are currently available for visitors at the moment.

in India? I didn't know biometrics is open for visitor visa applications?
