Good day. My mom landed in Canada as of February 2018. Her visa will expire on August 2020. She will turn 6 months on August 2018. Other mentioned that I need to extend her stay before she turn 6 months on August 2018. Is it correct? Please advise. Thanks.

Your mom's visitor status (not her visa) is valid until August 2018.

Your mom needs to apply to extend her authorized stay. She must send in her application around 30 days in advance/closer to the date when her status expires.

Is this her second visit on the super visa? Or she does not have a stamp or a specific date written in her passport when she entered?

She can request for extensions multiple times, but sooner or later do expect her stay to be limited or the extension to be refused

How many week/days allotted to exit to consider good standing ? Going to US is a good option like 3-7 days for exit then come back?
