Hello everyone,
My parents got their supervisa approved in January 2024. I used a medical insurance provider while applying for their visa, but found out that it was not a good coverage. I have found a different provider with a better coverage. Would it be fine if I just cancel the current one and use the new one ? Would this be an issue while clearing immigration ?
We are travelling in a week to Canada and I am accompanying them.
The current insurance company has come back saying this is the policy submitted on the application and this could be an issue when they land.
I will have an active coverage for my parents on the date of their arrival. But just that the provider would be different - meaning the provider on their application would be different from what I actually will be showing the immigration officers. Since I would be travelling with them, I can explain this scenario to officers if asked.
Kindly help me out with this.
Thanks.
