Hi . My mom landed in Canada on May 31st 2022 on her super visa status. IRCC announced that they are approving super visa holders to stay in Canada for 5 consecutive years from July 4th 2022. I want to know whether mom is eligible to stay for 5 years now or is she eligible for only 2 years . If so how can I apply for extension ?? Someone please clarify this

2 years. You can attempt to apply for an extension. It is a visitor visa so will have to go home eventually. You may also have to repeat her medical as part of the extension process.

if super visa holder renters Canada after July 4th 2022 on same visa.
Can one stay for 5 years at a time with no extension as per new rule, there is no date written on re-entry at POE.
