Hi!! I submitted Super visa application online for my mother in law on November 28
Got medical request on December 10
Medical completed- December 13
Since then we didn’t receive any update. It’s showing that medical results has not received yet. I submitted proof of medical by enquire email 2 times but never got any reply.
Is there any way to contact Cic or what I can do? Please answer. I am not sure if I can contact Cic by phone as I am not representative or principal applicant .
If I can what will be contact number for Delhi immigration as her file is there.
Thanks in Advance

You can send a case specific inquiry to ask for status. Otherwise there's nothing you can really do but wait.

I have a question regarding Super Visa.
My parents were granted Super visa in January 2016. They were here for a year in 2016-2017. I would like to bring them again but their visa expires in January 2021, which is when their passports expire.
Can someone please tell me what's the best way to go forward? Do I need to do a new application or is there a renewal to the existing visas? I am not clear at all on the next steps.

On a different note, my preference in fact would have been to sponsor my parents. However, I am just below the minimum income for 4 people, for 2018 (darn!). For my curiosity and information though:
- I see there is a difference between the minimum income for 4 people between the super visa and sponsoring parents:
Sponsorship 4 persons $60,271-2018/ $59,426-2017/ $58,768-2016/ $57,642-2015
LICO Super visa 4 persons $46,362

Can someone please explain why the difference?

Also, in the eligibility for sponsorship, it says:
"The undertaking commits you to:
providing financial support for your sponsored family members for 20 years, starting when they become permanent residents"

If parents become permanent residents, don't they have the rights like every other permanent residents, meaning access to free health care, and other benefits, expect voting? Why is there a need for providing financially for the next 20 years if they become permanent residents? What is the purpose of the permanent residency then?
I just need some clarification, nothing else.
thank you so much in advance.

Hi guys I wanted to ask something my parents just recently applied for their supervisa from Pakistan while one parent is the main applicant only they have received a letter for giving biometrics is that alright? Like would we just have to wait it all little more for the other parent to get their letter? Or does only the principal applicant receive the letter and both have to go? They applied online and paid their fee all together.

Thank you

What's you concern regarding the insurance fee. If you cannot afford to pay for health insurnace for his mother, she cannot visit Canada.
Without insurnace, her health bill in case of any medical issue would be MUCH higher than the insurnace coverage that you are paying.

It is said 100,000 CAD. Do we need to pay as much?

Do you mean your yearly payment is $100,000CND or the coverage need to be able to cover medical treatment up to $100,000CND?

If the yearly payment is $100,000 cnd, either his mother has some serious illness that the insurance company expect to pay out or you need to shop around for lower payment coverage.

We were preparing the documents and it is included this fee for medical insurance, for one year. Any suggestion regarding insurance companies?

You misunderstand the meaning of that statement. (I never applied for super visa, so I have to google it)
This is the requirementt:
Provides a minimum coverage of $100,000

Which means that you need to get qoutes from different companies that provides health insurance for travellers for long travelling period. And the coverage needs to be up to $100,000. (Which means that if person go into emergency, the insurance will pay out up to $100,000 for the treatment)

So your yearly payment won't be $100,000. The payment depends on that person's health history and age and the terms. You need to shop around.

Note that most insurnace only cover emergency so you will need to pay out of your pocket for regular doctor visits and check up and medication....etc.

And $100,000 coverage isnt' that much... you may want to find insurance with higher coverage.
