I'm applying for supervisa for my mom online-Can somebody help me out here please?

At 1st, it is unclear where to upload the medical insurance.
2nd, for photopassport, it doesn't let me upload more than one photopassport, how do i upload 2 photopassports in this case(I tried to put them in one folder, then upload it-still doesn't work), do I even need to upload 2 PPs when my home country uses biometric passports?
3rd on my invitation letter, what corresponding address should i address to since the Canadian embassy in my country is not a VAC?

Thanks

Why do you still need the corresponding address of the Canadian embassy when you are making an online application?

I meant I need to include the address to which my invitation letter is being address. In the header of the letter, should it contain the VAC address or the embassy address in my home country bearing in mind that the Canadian in my home country isn't a VAC? Does it even matter which address i put on the header of the letter?

Thanks

Hi

Sorry to ask you these questions but confused Undecided

I am looking to apply Super Visa online but once I am done the questionnaire, it does not give me the option for Supervisa but only visitor visa and $100 fee. Is this the right way to apply? Can I apply for her from Canada online and she can submit the passport in India?

I checked the time for visa and it says 23 days for Chandigarh and 114 days for online. Is online still better?

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp

I want to invite my mother on super visa but she is only visiting for a month most in the beginning. So should I select Visit for less than six months or more than six months. I don't want them to issue a visa for six months when I am paying the full price.

Does she need to show financial support since I am funding her trip? Would her regular Employee Provident Fund work if need arise? I will be showing my Pension and RRSP and around $5000 cash. Would that be enough?

Purpose of Travel - She is visiting me in winter and although not much to see in Winter, we will be sight seeing Toronto. Anybody else in the same situation? She is visiting me mainly because she has never been to Canada and wants to spend some time with me and family.

Where did you get your insurance for Super Visa? Is it better to go with deductible or not?

Thanks everyone.

Hey ,

I'm not really the expert here, but I can help in whatever I can. SUPERVISA has conditions that your should fulfill to start, I believe you did.
For online application, you are right. I didn't anything about supervisa option on online application, the only place i mentioned supervisa was on this form IMM5257
For the length of stay, I don't think they would give exactly the way you want it. Supervisa is a 10 yr long visa with a max of 2 yrs stay in canada. If your mom would be staying for 1 month, the Can.Imm. would still give her 10 yrs(if she's qualified). it's up to her to stay 1 month or longer.
For finances, if she is paying for her own expenses while here, I am not sure how much $ she should proof. But if you are the one to provide financial support ,check the CIC LICO, it would tell everything regarding your income to get your mom in canada.
for medical insurance, i did it with travalance.
Good luck

Could you please tell me how you find the time line of 114 days for an online application? Thx

desbois,,

here are some info i knew as i applied for my mom
1.you had choosen wrong option when you did eligibility check.. what is the relation you with the PR /citizen "answer you had choosen is "grandparents/parents" thats wrong. please choosen "child/grandchild" then you will see the check list for medical insurance
2. as per my knowledge if you need multiple document for same file should be merged using pdf merger ( please check this) as i did this for financial proof of my mom and mine
3. i represented the embassy address in india as i applied for my mom in india
