Hi,guys, how’s going?
My parents came to Canada on 18-Sept.-2018 with Super visa (PG-1).They went through inspection kiosk, so there’s no stamps on their passports. Now I do confuse the length of stay.
CIC updated Super visa policy on June 18, 2018 which changed Initial to each entry the holder can stay up to 2 years.
But they also say “you can only stay in Canada for up to 6 months” without the stamp.
So I called CBSA three times already and got the same answer: you can stay here for 2 years as long as you have PG-1 visa. Since the kiosk has been used, no stamps anymore.
However, my friend called CIC yesterday and had different answer from a agent: you can only stay in Canada for up to 6 months if there is no stamp.
I tried to call CIC again, again and again, but they are always busy.
Could somebody give me a help to figure out this issue, or tell me a CIC contact email address?
Thanks a lot.

From CIC website:
“Program delivery update: Super visa guidance – June 18, 2018
The guidance for super visa holders has been updated to reflect that each entry to Canada should be for a duration of up to 2 years and extensions should be for 1 year. Specific instructions for border services officers and processing offices in Canada have been updated.”
“If you have a super visa
If you enter Canada on a super visa and the border services officer puts a stamp without a date in your passport, you can stay for 2 years.
Length of stay decided at a primary inspection kiosk
If you go through a primary inspection kiosk, the officer may not stamp your passport at all. In this case, you can only stay in Canada for up to 6 months from the day you first enter Canada, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first.
If you need a stamp in your passport as proof of entry into Canada, you have to ask a border services officer after you finish at the kiosk.”
