Hi everyone,

I am planning to bring my mother and sister to Canada for a period of 3 months (after the recent demise of my father I would like them stay with me for a while. Mostly the stay will extend up to 6 months). I would like to get some expert ideas choosing which one will be my best bet to get their visas. Please provide your feedback based on the below details.

- I am a permanent resident.
- My sister works in India, unmarried, no travel history. I got a letter from their office stating she has been working from so and so date and they are okay to grant 3 months vacation. Bank balance 10,000 CAD.
- Mom, homemaker. No bank balance. Has some property.
- No strong tie ups in India.

Do you think I should apply for Visitor visa for my sister and super visa for my mother in one application? would that have an implication on my sister's visa?

Or Should I apply TRV for my mother as well instead of super visa?

Or Should I apply for both their visas separately to improve their chances?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

3 months is too long a trip for your sister. You should ask for 2-3 weeks only.

Thanks for the reply. Is that fine to apply for 3 weeks and can they stay up to 6 months once granted?
