I would love to know the current timeline as well. I just applied yesterday so

Applied Online : Feb 8th, 2017
Biometrics Done : Feb 8th, 2017

MyCic is still showing as biometrics required though. does it take time to change?

It take 3-4 working days to show update on CIC website. Current Official Time at CIC Website from pakistan is 159 days but don't worry it will not take that long probably end to end approximately 60 days which is almost 2 months.

Hi

You need 1 Notice of Assessment to apply the parents Super Visa. You need to show that you are above low income (Table available on CIC website).
In Simple its not possible to apply Father SV without passing some time in Canada and without showing proper proof of income.

you will also need Parents Super Visa Insurance which requires Canadian residential address.

Thanks for reply. I have all other requirements ready. (NOA, income higher than cutoff, Canadian health insurance). I have been working here for last 3 years on work permit.

Therefore, my question is will I need to wait for 40-50 days to get my PR card or my Father SV application can be submitted with COPR documents...

I was in the exactly the same situation as you and my parents application was not effected, so hopefully you will be okay too.

skhan: I have a question. Did you actually submit yout 2015NOA which was lower than LiCO? I am applying for my mother and I should be above ghe LicO for 3 persons which is $37,000. Now I am working since aapril 2015 and my income has always been above $50000. But because I just worked for 9 months in 2015 my taxable icome for 2015 is $35000 (lower than LICO for 3 persons). Otheriwse for 2016 I have submitted my employment letter stating my income of $60,000 and my T4 for 2016 as well. Do you think it would afecf my application? Do you think I should not have submitted my NOA for 2015 if it was below LiCO. I just submitted to show that i am earning a stable income since April 2015 which is almost 2 years ago.

She never worked but has enough bank balance and has house on her name too so i think that won't be an issue.
The only thing i'm worried about is, what to mention as reason to come to canada in invitation letter other than she didn't met her son for almost 2 years.
I know we will need strong reason but not sure what to write. Any help is appreciated.

That's quite valid reason. That she is missing her children and we did not see her from last two years. We want to pass some time with her to take care of her. Attached are proof of Income (Your Income) that you have enough funds to take care of her.

Do you think that will just be okay for 2 years super visa? We got my mother in law visitor visa for same reason though not sure it can work for 2 year super visa as well

This is reason i gave for my In laws SV

• Purpose of Visit: They will visit and stay with our family to see us and grand-kids. It’s almost more than 18 months that (My Wife Name) visited Pakistan and now we all are missing them. Now we want to see them and to pass the time to take care of them.

I got visa for them till the validity of their passports which is approx 4 years. (till end of 2021)

I did not submit any NOA (i had one of year 2015 and it was less than LICO so i didnt bother to send it), i instead attached my employment letter and bank statement.
In your case if you have submitted your employment letter which states your annual salary (more than 50000) so i believe you should be okay, they see your present job and present salary, also since you have already submitted your NOA for year 2015 there is nothing you can do now, you know what i mean right. So hope for best. Shouldnt be a problem.

Status changed to passed: 13th Dec
Passport Req received: 25th Jan

Received back: 10th Feb

Guys. I am concerned that my parents haven't gotten a medical request. its been more than 2 months now since the applied for it. they applied on december 12th 2016. They got there biometric done the same day. The applied on paper with all the required documents.
This is there second time applying for super visa as there old super visa was expiring.

HAS ANYONE RECEIVED A MEDICAL CALL WHO APPLIED IN DECEMBER 2016 OR AFTER

I'll appreciate a response by some one
