Super Visa Timeline -- Islamabad, Pakistan

I am very new to Canada. It's just 3 months now. I want to sponsor my mother on super visa. Here is the scenario.

1) I applied for multiple entry tourist visa in April 2013 for mother but it was rejected due to no letter of invitation or sponsor. It was my stupidity and I accept that.
2) I landed in Canada as PR on 19th July 2013.
3) Got permanent full time job offer in Regina, SK. No probation period. Joined the company on Sept 9, 2013.
4) I got 2 BR apartment here.
5) Got a letter from HR stating that I am on full time permanent employee without any probation period.
6) I meet LICO as I am earning decent here.
7) Want to call mother in December for a month on Super visa.
Cool My mother is a government employee back home in India.
9) My father expired 19 years back. My mother own property, government job and is staying with my sister. My mother's 2 sister also expired long ago. She is having only one brother who is alive.
10) We have sufficient funds to show.

What are the chances of getting super visa based on above criteria?

I have spoken to multiple immigration lawyers and they say you can apply. But one of them says that you can't as you haven't file your taxes yet. Can anyone guide me on this current scenario?

I know this topic has been posted several times on this forum but due to different scenario I am posting again. Any inputs are welcome on this topic.

This is how it worked for my mom.
My sis lives in Toronto and she attached the following documents for her Super Visa:

• Letter of Invitation from hosts (from my sis) residing in Canada.
• Copy of the Medical Insurance Certificate for MY MOM for one year with a Canadian Insurance Company. (Along with payment confirmation)
• Copy of Birth Certificate of sis(showing my mom is her mother) – English.
• Copy of Passport of sis (to show she has valid PR status).
• Copy of sis's Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
• Copy of the Bank Account of sis (to show she has enough funds).
• Copy of the Employment Letter of sis (to show she is self employed and not dependent)

I hope this will work for you. All the best. It just took 2.5 months in getting her Super Visa.

I am so happy ,my mother received super visa on 24th October 2013.
Thanks to Allah, It took only 2 weeks after medical.

My parents filled a paper application and sent it through TCS, they received medical request through email, however we have not yet received their passports through mail. Just wanted to know if when you receive medical request through email, do you even get the passports or you just have to get your medical done. The medical request form does mention that you need to show proof of identification either passport or NIC. Any help in this regards will be appreciated.

No they will not get their passport back now for medical.
Just take medical appointment for them and ask them to visit there with the printout of email and their identity proof like photocopies of their passport and simply tell them that we have submitted the original to embassy.

Nothing to worry, there medical will go smooth.
After medical, they will get their passports back via courier with stamped visas in 2 weeks

This is how everything went for my mom super visa.

One last question, after the medical is completed, do the doctor or the IOM people give any receipt or anything saying that the medical has been completed ? Do my parents have to send anything back (receipts) to the embassy ? Or is it more like you get your medical done and the IOM will take care of the rest.

No they will not give anything. They will send results to Islamabad. Just call them after a week to confirm if they have sent the medicals. After that in 2 weeks you should have visas.

Hello, my parents had their medical done at Lahore IMO. Which number should we call to confirm if the results were sent to the High commission ? Is it the same 051- number which was used to book the appointment ?

Applied for my parents super visa on 4th October 2013 through TCS, received medical request via email on 26th Oct 2013.
Medical done on 6th November 2013.
Waiting for passports to receive from High commission, hopefully Insha Allah with visas.

Yes, usually it is better if you can provide any documents showing ties to your home country for example property papers, bank statement. I am not sure if anyone over here has applied without showing any thing. If your parents dont have any property then atleast try to show some bank statement and also if you have siblings who will stay in Pakistan while your parents go to Canada, they account that as to be ties to the home country as well.
If you meet the minimum LICO, have purchased insurance and have invitation letter ready from Canada I would say go for it and apply for the visa. (Do not apply if any one of these have not met yet).

ys we have these 3 requiremnts fulfilled..but do we need to show FRC(family relationship certfcate)as my sister who is sponsor have 5 siblings..only birth certificater of my dad n sister who sponsor is enough to show relationship with her??

what doc. we need to show siblings?for this FRC is required or just family information form that is filled up during application would be enough??to show remaining family in home country...

Yes, submit all the documents you mentioned above, i.e. FRC, your sister's Birth certificate and Family information form submission is a must.
Include anything you guys can to show their ties in Pakistan. In your parents case I see that your siblings who will stay in Pakistan when your parents visit Canada will show as their ties to Pakistan.
