8 years of dealing with VFS, and for the first time they have been pushy in terms of them trying to make more money out of it.
Even if you live across the street from the VFS Office, they are now giving different cock-and-bull stories regarding why you should opt for courier service instead of in-person pickup.
And once you have successfully dodged these, there are people right outside the door trying to sell insurance and what not with intense amount of misinformation.
Even though there's not much to complain about their service standards, these are clear signs that VFS is taking negative references from BLS.
Please ask your parents/grandparents or whoever going to submit their passports to be careful and vigilant. Else you might have to pay some extra, be it negligible or a considerable amount.

thank you but i need to submit the passport to VFS. Biometrics is exempted for my father. I already checked the link it is taking me to biometrics but i need an appointment to submit the passport

Received PPR on May 13 2025. Any one know how many days it takes for stamping? Current city is Chennai in India.
